Lightest, yet strongest, weight full float axle

Hi all, I was wondering what the lightest and strongest full float axle is. I would prefer for the front axle to have a passenger side pumpkin if possible also. Pretty simple question, would like to hear your opinions on it. Thanks.

Are you looking for front or rear full-float axle? If front, Dana 60 is going to be your best bet. If rear, 10.5" GM or 11.5" AAM are the way to go. 10.5" is going to be the lighter of the two. And for a pass-side pumpkin, just use a GM front axle. All GM front axles were passenger side diff until they went to IFS in '88.

gm 14 corporates are extremely tough as well for a rear.d44hd, d60 or d70 king pin upfront deff my question is why light weight? if its going 4x4 weight really should not matter it depend on what your going to use it for such as crawling or pulling
