for those who went from 16" to 15" wheels

maybe looking to go to a steel 15" wheel on my stock 4x4 tahoe and prob go w/ 31-11.50's but what back spacing so it dont rub or stick way out the wheel well? i like the tire just a hair outside the wheel well or even flush but dont know of a workable offset. any ideas and pics pls????  thanks

We've got the same suspensions I believe.  I went down to a 15" rim on my 97.  It is 10" wide though.  I'd say you would want a 15x8 rim with somewhere around a 4-5" Backspacing.  That should make your rims stick out about 1-1.5" farther than they are now with stock rims.  Which would be even with or stick a little past the fenders.  I've got some pics down in my sig of my truck to give you an idea of what 10" wide rims look like.
