LED 9005 and 9006 bulbs. Question with poliarity.

Questions in regards to installing a set of drop in LED headlight bulbs.

We ordered a set of LED lights. They came with the transformers or drivers, etc. what ever they are called.

The lights have little cooling fans and were guaranteed for a long time.

I plugged them in and they did not work.

I tried on another vehicle and same results... nothing.

I received a replacement set.

I noticed the + & - on the connectors of the LED lights.

So I got out my multi meter and determined which truck lead was positive and which pone negative.

WEIRD, both trucks are opposite of the connector requires.

If I connect the new LED lights the "backwards" now they do not "SNAP" or "Lock", they WORK.

Has anyone came across a situation.

I guess the OEM lights do not require a specific positive and negative orientation.

Would it hurt any other system if I simply reverse the headlight wires.

This way I can use the LED lights and connect them and have the clips "Lock"
