ok here is the problem, we bought the truck and it had a blown 4.3l, so we decided to go with a reman 5.7l. Now we here we need a computer for a truck with a 5.7l, I just can't find any info about what computer to get or can I just get the computer in it flashed? btw the problems we are currently having is the rpms act up along with cold start problems. anyway any knowledge would be very helpful

Go to a junkyard, find a GMT400 with a 5.7, and pull the computer from it. It's plug and play. You will also need the 5.7 wiring harness if you don't already have it.

hey thanks man, how about injectors or anything else I might need to change?

If you got a gm long block, you will need the intake manifold. If its a vortec motor (96-98) you will need the spider injector assembly.if its tbi, you will need the tbi throttle body assembly

There are identifying numbers on the injectors,if they're the same I'd use 'em.I'd be sure the ECM # and the PROM # match also.
