Replaced air filter

When I felt some problems with the acceleration of my truck, I checked the air filter It was dusty and started degrading. I approached one diesel repair shop to fix it. As I didn’t have time to wait for getting it replaced, I just bought one from BC Diesel. 2 days before, I checked and replaced the air filter myself. But still it is not perfect. Is there any other reason affects acceleration? I have checked the fuel pump too. My truck is 2001 Chevy Duramax 6.6L LB7 engine.

  The truck had about 10,000 miles on it when I purchased it in the fall of 2020 for about $31000. KBB seems to think it's worth between $20 and $25k now, assuming a good transmission.

  Picked up the liners yesterday. Installed passenger side WITHOUT any modifications. All mounting holes lined up perfectly. Rain is interfering today with drivers side. Very Happy! Will add pics when finished

  I'll be buying another 3.0l when I replace my 2025 Sierra. I had an issue (engine siezed) but it was replaced and has been fine ever since. I'm spoiled with the excellent fuel economy to swap to a 6 2l or its replacement.
