Side Steps, Running boards for 2016 Diesel? Stupid Tank!!!

So I really want those Ranch Hand steps for my truck. However I am told they will not fit on the passenger side because the DEF tank. I am finding this is the case for most steps and the Diesels.

 

- I am thinking of buying the Ranch Hand and modifying to fit. Has anyone done that.

 

- Is there something with the same look? I want the wheel to wheel ones with a bed step.

i bought the luverne grip steps wheel to wheel, they are outstanding, i highly recommend them.
