Tire size question

I have a 2011 Silverado Cheyenne/z85. Can I fit 285/70-17 tires on it without any modifications and without rubbing

I run 265/70/17 on the 2001 and have plenty of room for a larger tire. The 285/70/17 are only about an inch taller, so you should be fine.

I started thinking about going with a 265/75/17 but there are not too many of those out there. I really love bfg all terrain tires. Does anyone make a similar one in that size

Is there any way besides a tuner/programmer to change the tire size in the computer? I thought some scan tools you could do that stuff with too
