High idle

Hey guys I have a 95 c1500 with the 5.0 and its got a high idle problem. I just recently installed a k&n cold air kit and a set of headers along with a fresh tune up. It just started the high idle after the install of parts. It flashes the code 35 which is the IAC valve error. I cleaned and reset it and it didn't make a difference. Is there a way I can check it before I go buy one and it's not the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm stumped now. Oh and I've also eliminated the possibility of a vacuum leak and I've also checked the gasket on the throttle body.

Check your idle set screw on the throttle body. It may be loose or you could have accidentally turned it just enough to raise the idle. Simple things first.
