cats--yes or no

is there aftermarket cats for trucks. if i remove them ho do i get it inspected. does anyone know someone who inspects in or near houston.do i need ls1 edit to remove them and put on 02 sims

I have seen aftermarket high flow cats in several mags (Sport Truck, Street Trucks, Truckin). When I took my new truck to my exhaust guy I asked him about high flow cats. When he got my truck on the rack (I had not seen the underside of the truck) he told me I already had them on the truck. There is 1 smaller cat after each header going into the y-pipe so aftermarket cats would not make a diff. on my truck. He also told me it depends on what plant the truck is manufactured at that determines the setup on the truck.

 

As far as removing them or o2 sims...... I don't know.
