my link hacking?

Long story short.... Anybody know if there is a way to hack into the My Link?

 

I think that overall, the 2014 Silverado is pretty nice, with exception of the My link radio. What a worthless crap that is.

Ok, some old people( No offense) my like the on Star hands free feature, but come on, even for 2014 that's very primitive.

It's worse than SIRI.. Is like when you call a automated service, and you have only few options, and you have to go to the next list of options, then to the next and to the next, so then you can access what you want. Not even mentioning the machine have a really hard time understanding you.

Every time I try to use is I waist to much my time that I just give up half way thru.

And the GPS... It's so stupid, most of the time it want to take me thru the longest route there is. Zoom in and out is a hassle, adding a destination is extremely slow. I guess if you don't have a smart phone that could be useful, but who doesn't?

Anyway..I got the big 8" screen and that big ol double din radio that is only worth for the Bluetooth and the volume button.(alltho, I'm still investigating if it is the my linky or apple that is being stupid, because before I turn of the truck, I was listening to spotify, and when I come back and crank it on, for some reason it want to play the musics in my phone library.)

So since I got some programming knowledge, could I take out the crap I don't want and maybe add some other stuff.

Learn to live with it. GM runs very far behind in technology features. You want up to date, go after market or use your phone. Just the way it is at GM. Progress moves slow.
