Lift kits

I want to install a 7.5" rough country lift kit and they say I can use my stock 20x8.5 wheels and put 35x12.5 20 tires on these rims my question is is it possible and would there be any rubbing issues and also would I need any back spacing. Any replies would be greatly appreciated

The Kit will push your front wheels 2" out from where there are now. Axle spacers come with the kit. If you want the back wheels even with the front, 2" spacers will be needed for rear.

Thanks forgot to say it's an 07 Sierra 4wd sle extended cab

If I were you, I would definitely want to put those tires on the entire wheel and not just the rims, that would be dangerous. The shop doing the install should be able to tell you the amount of back spacing needed for the wheels to clear. If not, call the manufacturer of the lift kit.
