2015 2500HD LTZ

I have a 2015 LT Z71 4x4 with 13,000 miles. I've already told my dealer that I'm looking for a 3500HD duramax single wheel next year.

 

But he's just took in a 2500HD duramax crew cab LTZ standard bed with 25,000 miles on it on a trade. It's silver, a color I can live with. . I'm very tempted.

 

 

What do your knowledgeable minds think a reasonable trade difference would be?

Something else I'm wondering is if a camper shell from a 2015 Silverado double cab 1500 will fit a 2015 Silverado crew cab 2500HD with the same size bed.

My Access Lorado tonneau cover swapped over nicely from my 2014 1500 double cab/standard bed to my 2016 2500 crew/standard, and fit perfectly. I also checked the Access website and the part numbers were the same. I'll bet a cap would swap over no problem too.

As for trade in values, they definitely vary from region to region (I got more than I paid for my '15 Sierra). So I'd recommend doing as much research as you can at sites like NADA and KBB.

 

One more thing to add, the payload is quite a bit different between the 2500 and 3500, so your real world towing capacities will be greatly different as well between the two models.
