The boxes seem shallow, too shallow for a good sub.

I put a JL 10w3 shallow mount in mine and it sounds pretty damn good. Only thing is it is not a cheap sub.

I've got a RF T-1 10 I'd like to use, Atrend makes a single box with a 6 1/4" surface depth, my T-1 is 6 3/8", but I can't find out if the depth area is wide or narrow, I would think it's narrow I just don't want to spend $80 to find out.olrlee what box do you have?

I got 2 Sundown shallow mount 12"s under the seat in my double cab. The box I used ended up being a little too shallow so I had to use some spacer rings.

 

I'll get some pics tomorrow when it's light out.
