Coolant Temperature sensor

Hi,

 

I have got Sieera Denali 2012 and sometimes engine temperature gauge will not work. Ac will switched off and their will be alarm in the dash board said the engine is very hot. In the scanner it said the coolant temperature sensor if out of rang. I thought change the sensor would solve the issue but it is not.

 

Reset the error and all things will be normal for a couple of days and then it will stop working again.

 

What else could i do to solve this issue???
