Tire question.....

They should fit... I personally am going back to a 265 tire, better power, better gas mileage and they will last longer on a stock 16X6.50 rim. But that's must me. I like the look of my current 285's but they wear out so d**n fast.

BDB,

What kind of tire you running? I had a set of BFG's on my old S-10 and they lasted me like 50,000.

Chevyguy,

That tire should fit your stock rims but your speedo/odometer will be slightly off. The only way to fix is to buy a chip or programmer ($250+). Something else you may want to consider. If you go 265 then the dealer will be able to fix. :D

I think some places only say a 245 on a 6.5 inch rim. That could be the reason they are wearing faster than normal!

chevyguy,

I have a 2003 Z71. If you have the factory 265/75/16 than you should have 16x7 rims. I would think you would have no problems with this setup. Let me know how it works out.
