2005 GMC sierra K1500 Trans Cooler fittings on Radiator replaceable?

On A 2005 GMC Sierra 1500, Are the transmission cooler line fittings that are on the plastic tank on the radiator replaceable? Thanks

I need to change my trans cooler lines and one of the radiator fittings (aluminum) is corroded so that the clip groove is gone so nothing there to hold the line in. Does this fitting just screw out of the plastic tank? Any tricks to it? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Thanks for the replys, That is the main question I have, The fittings going into the radiator are corroded and I don't want to take a chance of ruining the radiator until I know for sure that they will back out and screw back in without damaging the radiator's plastic tank or creating leaks.

 

Anyone change these fittings on the radiator before?

 

Could I bypass the radiator and go straight to the OEM external trans cooler in the front of the radiator?

I had to swap them over on a 95 silverado radiator. You can bypass, but I don't recommend it. The water cooler in the radiator is what does a decent amount of cooling and then the external is an auxiliary cooler. It helps too, but it is not meant to be a primary
