Moog Stabilizer Bar Link

So, noticed a broken factory stabilizer bar link, over the holidays.

 

Decided to try the new-style Moog links - the ones with the "exclusive" barrel nuts, & polyurethane bushings.

 

The instructions provided contradictory information. On one hand, they say to tighten until the spacer can still be turned with two fingers.

 

Then, goes on to say to tighten until a couple of threads extend past the end of the one-inch barrel nut.

 

Unfortunately, the spacer becomes too tight, a thread or two "before" the end of the barrel nut.

 

My gut says the spacer tightness rule should probably take precedence.

 

Would like to hear some opinions.
