Country song

I've been being tortured by country music at the jobs I've been working lately. I'm outnumbered by the country clan. I've found that I like a few of these songs. Trouble is "Cuzin Carl" always goes to sellin cars for nuttin instead of telling song names and artists. "Now ah want ya ta know that Bud Shell has some nigh on pretty trucks dahn there. His friends say he should retire, but he jus lacks to save you good people money on them new trucks". Cuzin Carl is an idiot. I hate him. But back to my original question. Anybody know a website where I could find the names of these songs? One I like goes like this, fast beat:

She's got pretty little lips, blond hair, blue eyes

Now I'm gonna kiss my heart goodbye

Hey pretty (or little) lady won't you give me a sign

That's all I remember. Anyone know the song title and artist?

Music video is great, shot in a real salebarn.

Thanks a lot, you were right on top of that! 6 minutes!

It is shocking I saw that.  This is only the second time since Sunday I've been on the internet and lo and behold a post pops up with my name all over it!  The world is a funny place ain't it?

Got any recommendations? Country songs/artists with a fast beat? I remember liking one a few years back like the afore mentioned. Title was the name of a girl, and "(girl's name)'s gonna marry me".

That's the only country I like now. I used to listen to the Oak Ridge Boys, Willie, Waylon, Hank Jr. and Merle in my whiskey drinking days. I mainly stick to rock. Some of these country songs actually aren't too far from rock nowadays.

Downloading Sold right now. :D

And that song you are thinking of is Norma Jean Riley by Diamond Rio. :D  Damn I'm good.

Country with a rock edge is what I like too, that old twang I just can't really get into.  Check out Montgomery Gentry and Gary Allan, they are just awesome.  Brooks N Dunn, Sons of the Desert, Phil Vasser, Kenny Chesney and Pat Green are a few of the others on my play list.  Even a little George Strait or Chris Ledoux would do you good.

Highway Junkie by Gary Allen is one of my all time favorites. Heard it on a B movie with Dennis Hopper-Space Truckin. Couldn't rest until I found it.

Jp, you just named of most of my favorites, seems we have very similar taste in country.  There probably isn't a day that goes by that I don't have some Gary Allan going in my CD player along with the rest of them, I've just about burned a whole through my Gary Allan cds.  I could never get into the twangy stuff either, I leave that stuff to my dad, he can enjoy it.  I need a little rock in my country.   :D

Brooks N Dunn's "Way you move" or whatever it's called (Featured in Coors light commercials) just kicks azz.

You may also want to check out Alabama's "If you're gonna play in Texas (You gotta have a fiddle in the band)".

There's also a song that you anti-rap guys will love. It's by Confederate Railroad, and it's called "I hate rap".

"I hate rap, I hate rap, and it don't go good with beer on tap, I hate Rap, rap, rap, rap, and it don't go good with beer on tap" :D

Now there's a real funny Country guy out there and his name is Tim Wilson, he would be found inthe comedy genre though, he's not in country genre.

"John Rocker, your proctologist called, they just found your head"

General, that Brooks and Dunn song is called "Ain't nothin' about you".  It is a great song.  The video is great too, the babe in the video is so freakin' HOT (same girl who is in the coors commercial, just alot more of her)  :D
