IO3 died while driving

Have not had any issues with the truck since I got it back from the dealership until today. The radio screen went totally black then rebooted about 15 seconds later. Kept all the presets but lost time. At least the steering did it go out again. It sucks though since this is the second time the radio has done this. I want to replace with a better one but I feel if this was to happen once the new radio was in the dealer would say it's the radio and not their issue.

What year truck? Did you happen to get a record of codes pulled from the truck. I'd be curious to see if there are any low voltage codes set in multiple modules.

It is a 2015. No I have no way to pull codes.

Kind of need to find out what codes are set. Either low voltage situation or you have a HMI module going bad or a LVDS cable from the HMI to the display. Basically a Micro USB cable.

When I was having all the issues a couple months back (radio, steering, and lights dimming) dealer said they were it able to pull any codes.
