2011 Escalade Rear Shocks (Z95)

My escalade has the suspension code Z95, Magneride with air leveling in the rear. I know the fronts use MRC (magnetic ride control) and I did not want to bypass that with some of the aftermarket stuff on the market so I stayed OEM with those even though they were pricey.

One of the rears is also shot and I need to replace it. I'm a little confused on the rears. Are these MRC plus air? Or just air? If they are just air, I think I'd be comfortable putting on a set of replacement Bilstein's unless someone thinks otherwise. From reading, I gather the original numbers were 580-1057 but replaced by 580-1091 (25871432).

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

They're both. I wouldn't bypass unless that's really the way you want to go.

Amazon has the best price and it's best to replace as a pair.

Okay, understood, the rears are MRC and air. Therefore OEM should be used. Probably could have answered my own question had I noticed that there is an electrical connector at the top, in addition to the air line on the side.

Amazon does have the best prices, that's where I got the fronts but still pricey compared to a normal air shock so I wanted to be sure.

Thanks for your help.

For anyone elses info, I also see the numbers 23487280 which appears to be the same as 25871432. Not sure why the change.
