Question

I don't know if any of you have seen the tents that go over the bed of a pickup...But I was wondering if anyone here has actually used one, and could tell me how exactly it attaches to the truck.

 

It's just one of those things that I would like to have, but havn't had the chance to look at one closely.

 

The reason I need to know how it attaches, is that I have the Pro-tec bed, and consequently...Don't have bed rails.

 

Just wondering if it's even an option.

I have one...there are clips go under the 1/4 panel its self on the bottom. so as londg as there is room for, say a bungie cord your all set. They work well and are easy to put up

I found this article reviewing one.....Looks like it would do just fine.

 

Now I would just have to find a reason to use it.

Well we have house out on a barierbeach here, the house is on the inside part, so, if we want to go out to the front where the big waves are I use the tent so you have a place to get out of the sun or get busy with your old lady. If we have a lot of people down it comes in handy too. the house slleps 10-12 and the tent could do 3. I have used this tent almost everyweekend in the summer for the last 3 years and has held up very well
