microfiber towels

What do you people think about microfiber towels verses regular 100% cotton towels? Do you think the microfiber ones are better? Do you think that they are softer?

Also, are you people using microfiber towels to remove wax/other stuff from your vehicle, or are you using something else? I have both, but the microfiber towels I have don't seem to work well when I'm removing pure polish. It seems like I'll get little fibers on the paint, but when I switch to a regular towel it works better. I don't have this problem though when I'm removing wax with it.

Micro fiber towles are all I use. The linting will normally go away after a few washes. The quality of the towel has alot to do with it. I use them for drying, windows , polish and wax removal, cleaning and appling dash protectants.

I use microfiber towels from Griot's for polish, wax removal, and the larger towel for drying. They make a world of difference on the truck, but especially on the black car. I hear Costco has them cheap, also.
