Checked my G218 Dash Grounds... glad I did.

After stumbling upon a thread with a video for this I decided to check my dash grounds. When the truck was newer I had the infotainment system reset itself 2 or 3 times but not in the past 2yrs or 40k miles. I never experienced the stabilitrac or steering issues like others. Figured it looked easy and the peace of mind was worth the trouble, especially if the steering and system freakout happened while towing... just not worth the risk. So today I popped the dash open and checked them. The Driver side ground was pinching the sound insulation material. Passenger side was not. So I removed the driver side ground nut, trimmed the sound material and back together it went. Surprised I have not really had issues like others being my driver side one was pinched pretty bad. Glad I did this today.... good peace of mind.
