Ok, this has probably been killed time and time again, but I have to ask because I haven't found anything in the search or on (the now less than useful) Google. I'm wanting to throw a small block in it (SURPRISE!) which I've got handled. What I can't seem to find is a suitable manual transmission, let alone a mounting system. Only two trannys I'm really interested in is a newly rebuilt Muncie M22 (yes, I have found a company selling them) and a T56 (which has 30 some odd variants). As far as the T56, which one would work for a square body S10 and does anyone know where I can find a mounting bracket?

Google useless?

Sometimes you have to make things yourself or pay to have them made. :happysad:

From a 30 second google search:

Here is the T-56 six-speed in place in the Blazer. The stock ’95 Blazer crossmember resides in the stock location, but the mount was removed and a 3/8x1-inch slotted hole was cut in the center of the top of the crossmember for the T-56 mount.

diyer2, Google was useless for a square body.

muddkatt, that Super Chevy article, after discussing with the author, revealed a massive amount of fabrication I'm not capable of due to physical/tooling restrictions.
