ok so i heard a clicking noise in my front end with my wheel racked all the way to the right(in reverse or drive) brought it to the dealer and they sound it could be my lift, so i brought it to where i got my lift put on because they were throwing an intake in and doing my brakes anyways and they checked my wheel bearings, cv joints, cv axles etc. they finally told me he heard it in my front diff when it was in the air by spinning something with his hand. I took it back to the dealer because I still have powertrain and they cant replicate the noise and basically will refuse to look into it any further until they can....any help?

Its your steering gear. Mine has gone out twice now. I have a 6” lift on my truck with 35’s and the dealer says the rack can’t handle larger tires.

how much did it cost you to get fixed or was it covered under warranty? I only have power train so i don't know if that would be covered. My dealer sells lifted trucks with bigger tires.. I didn't jump up to much in size I have 33's but i have the factory 22" wheels

The first time it went out I had 33’s with a level kit and it was was covered under warranty. Ill find out next week if they will be covering it again with my lift. I was told it would be $1100 for the part plus labor which would have been around $2000.
