Stupid Question about Changing Oil

My rig has 3,000 miles on it now, so I'm going to change the oil. I've done this before in my previous rigs, but this will obviously be the first time in my truck.

 

I'll start with the GMC manual...it sucks. There isn't even a picture in it to confirm the oil drain plug location....which is my question...

 

I've located the oil filter. Its on a housing with a nice deep pan at the bottom, with a drain plug. Is this plug the oil drain plug? I'm 99% sure it is, but since I only have one car, I'd rather not drain some other fluid and have to walk to the parts store...
