Boy, farming in your neck of the woods is alot different that here in the midwest. I'm used to corn & soybeans

And in the midwest we don't have a Sh*ter on wheels we just find a tree. :(:eek:

 

And the picture of that wheat field :jester: oh how I miss that part, living in the city sucks compared to parking your *ss in a combine for 12 hours. :seeya::seeya:

Yeah country living is great.......... Went out last night to shut the water off.. Felt the urge pissed right there on the spot..............

What is the advantage to the tracks on the Challenger?

 

Flotation? Less soil compression? Tractability? Load Capacity/Traction?

 

Can you get more speed with tracks than tires?(w/same load and power)

The main thing that we got it it for is finishing seedbeds (along with our D5B) thats where the less soil compaction comes into play .

More of a foot print than a wheeled tractor the weight is spread over a larger distance .

 

Some may disagree with me but I dont think that it provides anymore traction than a MFWD tractor

 

As far as load capacity im not sure what it is but we pull the same implement it has in those pics with a 4440 and it is a much much smaller tractor and it handles it just great .
