Hypertech power programmer III

Does the Hypertech power programmer III chip increase horsepower enough to make it worth the $300.00+ dollars? Also does it void my factory warranty?

I have the HPPIII and used it for my increase in tire size and increased the firmness of the shifts. Just adjusting for th enew tires increased the pep in the truck and a couple MPG too. $300 is alot but definatly seem to have more power now.

Well definately sounds like its worth the $$$. What about the warranty though? Thats really my main concern.

If you do install the HPP program in your truck and have to take it back in for warranty work you can return the truck to factory settings. After you get the truck back you can then re-install the custom program.

I just picked up the PPIII and I love it. I run 93 octane now which helps and dropped my rev and top speed limiter. www.tsetruckstuff.com was selling it for $299 with free shipping. I ordered mine about 2-3 weeks ago so the price should still be the same. Its worth checking them out though. As for the warrenty it says right on the box "...Federal Law prohibits a dealer from voiding your warrenty just because you are using aftermarket equipment...." the only way they can void it is if the part causes damage or voids emissions.
