What jack setup are you using while on the road for lifted trucks?

Recommended Posts

Aloha. I wanted to see what jack setup you are using while on the road for lifted trucks?

The stock jack doesn’t work on my 7” lift with 35” tires

At home, I use my floor jack, but don’t want to carry it with me on the road.

Any suggestion are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have never thought about this.... I have a 4.5 inch lift with the stock 265/65/R18 duratracs and wonder if the stock jack would still work with this?? Anyone know by any chance? Don’t mean to jack your thread!

I use my stock Jack and two pieces of 2x8 stacked under the jack, this has worked the one time I ever had to do it.

I just went to my local lumber yard and asked for some scrap wood they could cut for me. I just leave them under my backseat next to the jack.

I'm running a 6 inch bds with an add a leaf in the back with 35's.

20ton bottle jack. The factory can work with some wood but I also think it's to flimsy when in off road conditions and the terrain.

That was my main concern. I do go off roading and don’t have any main points for a hi-jack.

Which model did you go with? Pictures? Thanks

Standard model and i bought the longer extension thinking i would need it but i dont so you should be fine with the extension included with the jack
