Good year Tracker's

This tire is sold by and made for Walmart. Anyone have any experience with this tire? The Generals have worn out and now i am looking for replacements. Four tires mounted, balanced, road hazard, etc... in a 255-70-16..$408.00

I had tracker P's on my Quad. LOL. I have always steered clear of the tires for the chains like K-Mart, Wallmart, R&S Strausse and alike. I like to spend the extra and get the name brands and models. Not saying they are bad but never really considered them. I am sure someone will Chime in on the tire with some sort of experiance.

I havent tried them myself either, the tread design seems like it gets worse the larger tire size or something. I have used the Liberator sold by walmart and it was a fairly good tire, but no matter what brand I have a hard time getting more than 30,000 out of a set of tires (the roads here are poor in most locations and must be very abrasive). So I try not to spend too much on tires, I like something around the $100 a tire range. I cant pay $200 for a tire and have it wear out the same time as a $100 tire. You could just try the Trackers and go from there, if you like them if not dont get them again!

stay away from walmart for any auto services. The workers don't know anything (aren't trained) and can come in with zero experience. All they worry about is how fast they get your vehicle done, and not if they "actually" do the services they say they do. I knew a guy who worked there.

Look on the tire sidewall for the first 2 characters of the DOT manufacturer's code and then check against the list above.

Well i called Goodyear this afternoon, and this is what they said about this tire. This tire and the Conquest are essentialy the same tire. The major difference is that the Conquest has more of a solid center section than the Tracker. The other difference is that the Tracker has a wider track than the Conquest(gives a wider apperance once its mounted). Other than that they have the same ratings. Conquest $598 per set, Tracker $400 per set. Now my only concern is the grease monkeys at Wally world!

A buddy of mine is running the Trackers on his 94 Burb and he likes them and has no prob w/them.

I guess you could always buy the tires from Wally World and have them mounted and balanced at a reputable tire shop!

The Wal-Mart here is really good with tires. They are the only place that could get my tires to balance, I had them to 2 other tire shops and they still had a wobble, but Wal-Mart balancing and workers were great!
