I have owned 2 used chevy trucks prior to purchasing my latest one and never has any water issues. I have a 2014 chevy Silverado LTZ Crewcab with water infiltrating the front driver side.  I was away for 2 weeks and came home and noticed a lot of condensation inside my truck. I though i left window open and water got in but that wasn't it. So I tried to start truck after 2 weeks,  but nothing. realized battery was totally dead. I purchased new battery and truck started and drove for a day. 2 days later battery completely dead again.

I noticed water inside cab near driver side mat. Water was getting in and got into fuse box from what I found. Looked under stearing column and noticed water there and some corrosion. Headliner was dry and checked sun roof. I think water is getting in through top of wiper area.

If anyone has a similar issue and found the cause. Any info would be great!!!!

Thanks in advance,

You may want to take another look at the sunroof.  Factory sunroof usually have drains in the corners that route water down the a pillar inside tubes.

You should be able to find the leak by opening up the dash and then have someone use a hose on the exterior while you sit inside watching for leaks.
