My Dad wants to sell his '70 GMC Stepside. It had a frame off restoration and has the top chopped 4". Fresh 350 4-bolt with 600afb, Performer intake, Jackman coated headers, 700R4 tranny with hydraulic shift conversion. Oak bed floor with stainless rails and bolts, louvered hood and tailgate, and much more.

Asking $14,000 obo OR willing to trade for late model Harley or 32-40 Ford.

  are the heater controls set for hot or cold air? If it's set for hot, and say, to get air from outside the cab (vs recirculated air), even w the fan off, air will get pushed through the hvac system, over the heater core and into the cab. Switching it to cold will reduce the temp to whatever it is outside. Switching to recirculate mode (which may mean switching to vents or whatever, read your owners manual), will reduce the amount of airflow through the hvac system.

  I am guessing that is good relatively speaking given that its probably a popular vacation spot and that usually means a captive market. Right now we are sitting at 1.73 a liter for regular and that would have ethanol in it as we don't have such a thing as no ethanol regular fuel it seems, and diesel at 1.80 a liter, priced in Canadian Pesos ......
