Computer question

Somehow the volume control icon is no longer visible in the toolbar. I am running XP 2000. How do I add the icon back to the toolbar?

Go in your control panel, open sounds, there is a check box that says something like "display icon in taskbar" or something.

Yep, under the Volume tab in the middle box that says device volume make sure the box is checked that says "Place volume icon in the taskbar".
