09 sierra led headlights

I recently installed some LED low beam headlights on my 09 sierra 1500. They are advertised as 6000K and around 4,200 lumens. I have always ran silver star ultras but the life span was really short. The LED seems brighter but the beam does not travel as far as the halogens. Anyone else have any experience with this? I wonder if a projector style lens would help focus the beam to make it more usable?

I am using LED lights as well, I like the color, but the beam spread is horrible. Don't remember the brand, I was gifted them.  The blind spot/shadow is due to the circuit board, that is what my issue is. Blind spot/shadow is 20-30 feet out in front, plus it lights up roads signs and rear view mirrors far down the road. I have been looking to replace them but I'm finding nothing I like or that will perform better. I have been looking at these,

but have not come across a decent review.  I will not go back to HIDs, might just have to rock stock until they have a better LED design.

Those are some interesting LED’s. I like how the beam is pointed forward, instead of the side like most. I wonder if that makes any difference? The reviews are very mixed so I am hesitant.
