No power steering

Hey guys. I have a 15 Silverado 1500. While ago I drove threw some water and it was fine for a couple miles parked it and service power steering came up. And no power steering. Figured I’d let it dry and next morning it had worked fine for about 150 miles then would cut in and out and now I have absolutely no power steering and it drains my battery fast like it will be dead within 5 hours. Anybody else have a similar issue and if so what was it? Just looking to see some imput and what I could possibly be thanks

I had a similar issue a few months ago, except for the battery drain. Anytime it rained, the power steering would quit, and then cut in and out for the next couple days. Found a connector that wasn't sealing right going to the assist motor. I let it dry out, then packed it full of dielectric grease. Made sure the gasket was seated right, and I haven't had an issue since. Just a thought...

Hey Carter patch did you ever find out what was wrong with your truck and how to fix it my truck is doing the exact same thing
