Escalade door handles

I got my escalade door handles installed. It only took about 45 minutes. I cut my arm on the inside sheet metal, but it was worth it. The hardest part was getting to the retaining nut behind the window channel, thats where I cut my arm trying to reach in there to get to the nut.

Yall can get em from JPCustoms. I used the little cut out on the inside f the door, and a couple of U joints to get to the nut on the top left of the handle. Unfortunately I have to get anothe one for the passenger side, cuz my dealership somehow broke it. It still works, just a little loose.

how much do they usually cost, and can you buy the them color coded to match your factory paint?

I have had mine on my truck for a little over a year now. Love the look and feel. My truck is black so I did not need to get them painted. Just slapped them on. Cosmetically they are a great addition to the truck at only $70 from gmpartsdirect.com

The price has gone from $27.59 up to $34.17 in just a week ... atleast for the ones that match summit white. With the price increase I think I'll do a bit of searching before I order. I knew I should have ordered them before my vacation.

I'm glad I ordered them when I did. I got mine at the lower price. Gmpartsdirect.com was great, they sent order confirmation and a UPS tracking number when they were shipped, and it only took 7 days to get them.

The handles look great on your truck. I just received mine today as well (Summit white). I assume you have to remove the door panels, or did you remove/install the nuts from the access hole in the door edge (by the latch)? I'm impressed if you did it without removing the door panel!
