:confused: Anyone ever deal with this company?

 

Im going on 4 months of 5 day a week calls trying to get a double charge on my account removed from a returned Item that the UPS tracking number says was delivered, and was confirmed by the ONLY guy that was any help(Ive been transfered to everyone imaginiable) who was Larry Ext 1879 and hes not even in the "Returns Dept"

 

Everytime I call, they transfer you to the Supervisor(Lance Ext 1000) who is never there and never returns calls ever.

 

At this point do I just call the bank and have them credit me back one or both charges? Or is there someone else at this place to talk to?

 

One more thing, 99% of the time, everyones in a meeting, on vacation, at a truck show, but they will be back Next Tuesday. Then on that day they are somewhere else.

 

I know Im not the only one since Ive read on other boards similar situations.

 

What pissses me off the most is I have to pay interest to the bank on this Overcharge on my card so its costing me money every day too.

If you have delivery confirmed by UPS then I would contact the bank and see what they can do. I'd also consider talking to the BBB, and tell them at Truck Add Ons that you are going to have to take these steps...

I bought something on Ebay once and waited 3 weeks and still haven't received any word on the item I purchased. I finally found a number to contact them and they informed me that they were "out of stock on that particular item..."

 

Uhhhh.... what? Why was there an auction on ebay if you were out of 'em?? :smash:

 

Ebay was a lot better before all the business starting getting on the bandwagon

IMO.

 

Just FYI, This thread inspired my "Customer Service" post in the Bash/Rant Forum.

I had an issue with Truckaddons.com when they were first getting going, they did the same d**n thing to me. I will never purchase from them again, they were a serious headache to deal with.

These people suck,,,,,I filed a complaint with the better buisness bureau,,,,,I had made a post about this warning about doing buisness with this company a few months ago.You will have to get really irate to speak with anyone on the phone.You need to ask for Barry he is the president Here is the thread.....Read here.Good Luck.....Gun

Dispute the charge with the bank ASAP, both over the phone and in writing. Do this ASAP, since most banks have a time limit on disputed charges.

After seeing this topic I was sort of leary ordering anything from them. However, they had the best deal on the Groundforce lowering kit for my Denali, and with free shipping figured I'd take a chance.

 

Well, I ordered the kit on Monday, December 8 online and received a message to call their order desk for a quote on air shipping. After all was said and done, the kit arrived Thursday, December 11 by FedEx and my credit card was billed the agreed amount.

 

I had checked several other websites for this same kit and they were all priced higher and with an outrageous shipping charge.

 

Oh and if anyone wants to know, this kit works great for anyone wanting to keep the autoride suspension and lower their SUV 2/3.
