Tow mirror clearance lights -2010 2500 Duramax

Anybody done it? I’ve been scouring far and wide, bought a pair of tow mirrors off amazon, my Ltz had power folding mirrors, but the new mirrors lack the actuator, plan was to make the clearance lights run off the old folder switch, which I managed, but they will only come on for a second or so and go right back off, anybody familiar enough with electrical as to whether/how to make the switch run as an on and off switch? So far I’ve got it rigged so one side turns it off, and the other on, but it seems like I’m missing something or I need to mess with the relay itself.

I figured it out. Wired through mirror heaters. Piece of cake, doesn’t require disassembling everything
