2017 GMC Acadia HID Kit Installation

Hello, I am new to the forum and had some questions about doing a HID conversion kit installation. If I did HID, I would probably get 5000k to make it look close to stock and to match the LED DRLs. 

 

How difficult is a HID kit to install? Any precautions I need to worry about?

Will either effect the signature gmc led drl strip?

Any recommended sites to get kits from? I've looked at xenondepot and diode dynamics so far but thats it.

What components do I need to get with the kit? Do I need the PWM module?

Look at www.thereteofitsource.com. They should have everything you need. I upgraded my 15 Sierra headlight to HID with their kit. Would love to update the wife’s 17 Acadia too but it’s a lease and not gonna touch it.

I looked on their site but could not find any kits specific to the 2017 Acadia...So far I've checked out xenondepot and diode dynamics. I think I will stick with a HID conversion kit.
