How will taller tires affect my truck?

If I went with a taller than stock tire size on the stock wheels, how will it affect my speedo, acceleration, and gas mileage?

Also, is it easy to adjust our speedos to correct for non-oem size tires/wheels?

Taller tires are easy to find - check Tire Rack for a lot of choices - since I am not sure what you driving, can't recco any better. You need to search the threads for max sizes that will fit.

If you change the OD of your wheels you mess with the oddometer [legal issues] and possibly your ABS - this can be corrected by your dealer if the new tires are valid options on your truck. The other option is to use a HPP3 or SCU2000 to reset the tire/gear settings and get rid of the speed limiter at the same time.
