Rear diff help

Okay guys so about a month ago I slid while dodging a car and hit a curb. Couple weeks ago the wheel bearing started squeaking. Sooo I pull the wheel and brake off grab a dial and wouldn’t ya know the axle is bent. After a few cuss words and a slide hammer I get the axle out destroying the abs ring in the process. Then all my parts come in and they sent the wrong axle. So now I have the right one and installed. Problem I’m having now is getting the cross pin back in. It will almost all the way in and stop. Spider gears seem aligned too. Please send help. Will upload pics later

Great time to upgrade axles. Or rear ends are strong but axle shafts not so much. Pic and we can help.
