Vehicle information/trip meter etc. Scrolls randomly

Hi guys, got an 06' Chev Silverado 2500HD with steering wheel controls.  Some buttons dont seem to work at times but it's like its possessed as it randomly scrolls and changes languages, etc.  When it does this the buttons dont work to correct it.  Is there a control module/interface for all the buttons?  If so what and where is it located?

Thanks!

Just as likely needs some solder on the resistors in the cluster itself as the clockspring.  My 05 was doing weird stuff where the buttons wouldn't work or it would take off on you scrolling.  When we had the cluster apart the resistors that deal with the button inputs were partially broken off the board to the point they made intermittent contact.  Dobbed solder on to get them to be fully attached and its been fine ever since.

Really.  Ok. Thanks. Ya I had to replace all the lights with LEDs in the cluster.  Not sure what part of the cluster this is though.
