This time he took a little souviner with him (My quotation key)

After the first time my mom took him to the vet.  He was put on medicine for his tyroid.  Hes almost 9 yrs old and still acts like a darn puppy

Just being a typical animal, most things they do just can't be explained.  Like "Why would those cattle want out into that bare plowed field when they are in a lush green pasture right now?"

I'm still looking for an answer to that question by the way, seems I'm always asking myself that or some variation of it.

This evening me and my gf were playing risk.  One of her pieces fell on the floor and the dogg got it.  He dropped it and she went to pick it up and he bit her.  WTF is his problem.  Her finger got it pretty good

Hopefully itll be better soon

oh yea he is a golden retriver.  Maybe his medication is making him more aggressive?

hes not retarded.  Hes 9 yrs old.  It was recently found his tyroid isnt producing something and has been put on pills.

Only time he has bitten people is when he has something in his mouth and they tried to take things away (he thinks its his).  Afterwards you could tell he knew what he did wasnt right

I know a few people with Golden Retrievers.  They are wonderful dogs, but as they get older sometimes they do get grmpier and more aggressive.  If he has recently gone on medicine it could easily be a combination of the medicine and age creeping up on him.

You should call the vet and ask if the medicine has any side effects.  Another thing might be to make sure he gets plenty of exercise and that you give hi alot of attention, so that when you're not giving him your attention he won't be as jealous.

Hope it all works out for you.
