Battery gauge riding high?

My battery gauge is sitting above 14....probably in the 15.5 range or so.   This continues after the truck is fully warmed up.   My truck is a 2014, I've had it since 2016.    I believe it's still the original battery at 46k miles.

Any ideas?  Thanks.

Go get your battery checked at the auto parts store.  The check is free.  My guess would be that the alternator is constantly trying to charge the battery because it's lost a cell.   If that's the case, it'll eventually wear the alternator out.

My first thought is a bad ground and your alternator is compensating for lost of voltage at the bad connection.  If it was a bad cell it would read 10.25 when you turn the key to accessory.  Check your connections for the green stuff and clean and tighten them.
