I went online to the gm chat and gave them my Vin and they were able to confirm this. If you have appealing car play under settings but not AA you need the update.

I need an update too, but the dealer told me it is no longer free, and it would be $140 or so, I understand it's been a while, just wanted to check to see if everyone has had to pay for their upgrades??

Not I, but my car was CPO and I have an extended warranty. Plus I have an in with one of the sales guys, which I'm sure doesn't hurt.

Nice, I went the same route after reading your post and reached out to my buddy who works at the dealer, and he told me he'd do it at cost
