2014 Sierra bluetooth issue

Late model 2014 Sierra 1500 4x4 base

It's got the smaller base trim head unit.

 

Samsung galaxy s9 connects to bluetooth, plays music through bluetooth, receives calls through bluetooth, but it will not play call audio for outgoing calls. If I call someone. The call will go through and the other person can hear me but I can't hear them. I have to turn off bluetooth and hold the phone to my ear.

 

I've tried volume adjustment, menu settings, re-pairing, phone reset, bcm reset. Nothing seems to work. Still no bluetooth audio for outgoing calls. I'm lost.

Try going into your phone's bluetooth settings, then find your vehicle and press the gear icon to open your settings. Ensure that both the Media and Call audio check-mark boxes are checked. Have a good day, I hope this fixes your issue.
