I'm watching the Cup race now, it's a great race, GO Jr.!!!!

 

Man, the BGN race last night was good too. I loved the end of it. I think Kenseth got what he deserved after hitting Sauter under caution, Sauter couldn't help if his car slid up the track earlier. But What I liked best was Harvick taking up for his teammate.

I am SICK of hearing the stupid announcers talk about who is mad at who and the mad list and all that stuff. I cant even watch anymore, they cant say 5 words without sayin the word mad.

I can't stand Rudd or Burton, but it was pretty easy to see that Burton didn't mean to hit Gordon. But Rudd, that looked intentional to me. I would've loved to have seen Harvick knock the crap out of him. But I'm sure everyone will flame Harvick, because that's what they always do. Yet everyone took Spencer's side when he hit Busch. It's alot like that. Rudd has been a d**m whiner for the past couple years and he gets worse every year, and he always cries if he is barely touched at all, but can't understand why anyone is mad at him when he hits them. I loved Harvick's interview.

 

I've liked Harvick for a while, but last night and tonight amke me like him that much more.

 

 

And one of my favorites won. Go Newman!

 

But I can't understand why Jr. didn't pit under caution when he knew he hit the debris and was concerned about his tire, why take that chance, at that point there was still time to get back to the front. Oh well.

HArvick took it a little far wit the "gd" remark, but thaey should have never stuck the mic in his face that soon. Rudd had to have done that intentionally. Harvick was justified in being mad but, that was borderline hissy-fit.

The Jr. deal on not pitting was just stupid, its not like NO ONE else came in on that caution, he could have pitted for tires and probably not lost more than 5 positions. I dont know what they were thinking???

Being that mad, I doubt he was worried about the politically correct phrasing at the time. It really a wonder that things like that aren't said more often when they put the mic in their face so soon after an incident.

This is exactly what I mean. Harvick gets flamed for standing up for himself, but Spencer gets applauded for punching Busch in the nose. Its the same situation, yet because Harvick always gets flamed by everyone he's going to get it again. A bit of a double standard. And it can't be because Spencer is a clean racer or something, because in all of the years I've been watching NASCAR Spencer has wrecked more people than anyone except the Bodines. The only thing Harvick did wrong was go to Rudd's car, he should've waited until he was out of the car then went over and punched him.

I couldn't help to notice Ryan Newman's girlfriend after the race.....I think she has an adam's apple!!!!

 

 

Both the Fri and Sat races were great. Good racing and hot tempers at a night race makes it fun to watch.

I'm a Harvick fan and I think Rudd did that on purpose, you should never hit someone going into a turn, it's almost impossible to save a car then. I would have been fine with rudd bumping Harvick coming out of the corner. I hate how they shove a microphone right in the driver's face without letting them have a chance to cool down or think about what to say.

I don't have a problem with them putting the microphone there so quickly. I kinda like it. But I do have a problem with them getting upset about what is said after they put it there so fast. If they don't want to hear it then they should let them cool down, if they want imediate responses then they should expect what they get. You can't have both.

I am not starting anything with you Elwood but its just that we have such different opinions.

 

NASCAR drivers no matter when they have a mic in front of them are supposed to act professionally because they are in the spotlight so much no matter how much their tempers flare. And Harvick just doesnt act professionally hardly ever, as well as many other drivers. Maybe Tony Stewart can recommend his anger management person to Harvick!

Harvick is going to say whats on his mind no matter what and I think its great. As for being big and bad, I think he gets his point across on and off the track.

 

The for reason Junior not pitting was just yet another bad call on Tony Eury Junior's part. Dale was coming and he was talked out of it at the last minute.

I don't see Harvick acting ANY different than Dale Sr., DW, Cale, or any of those guys at the same ages.
