Can I add a front grill cam to 2018 silverado with 7 inch screen

Every search I do pops up with instructions on adding the front cam to a 8 vehicle with the 8 inch screen.  The youtube videos show a front camera button within the display, where as mine only has the back camera.  Can I add it without replacing the screen?  Not enough information on this.

 

Also is there a way to record from this, instead of getting a separate dashcam.  I'd like to minimize the crap on my windshield.

Don't think it can record though. I will have to research that more.
