Hello fellow GM truck dudes...I have a question on what you guys think about the Wester's PCM upgrade? I am convinced that its the best product out there and its what I am ordering next week. I also am a member of another forum...www.fullsizechevy.com...and most member there really have high reviews of Lyndon's product and services. Just wanting to know.

I'm really happy with mine. I know that a few people here and on other forums have had some problems with it. Mine however has been worth every penny. Would def. buy again.

I agree that it certainly put some life in my 6.0L.

My only complaint, is that I requested tuning for 87 Octane, and the engine pings a little under hard acceleration. Running 89 Octane cures the problem (and certainly helps performance some more). Lyndon told me I will probably have to change octane ratings based on weather conditions.

Along with the performance gains, my MPG's also increased too so that is a big

I let Lyndon decide for me... I just told him to correct for my +1 tire size and to remove torque management. I also mentioned I wanted to run 87 Octane.

Otherwise I just told that I tow an 8500 lb camper, and that I drive alot of short trips.

I just left it up to him, and his response was "You'll be Happy" !!!

I got mine two months ago and I really ilke it. I never got over 9.5 mpg since I bought it new, now during the past 8-9 tanks I haven't gotten below 10 mpg. I now average 11.0-11.5. It made the allison wake up due to the reduction in torgue management and slight increase line pressure. I just told him, "its a work truck and I want it to last as long as possible". I figured if it got me 1-1.5 mpg increase that would be about 18% increase. It will pay for itself in about a year or so. I really didn't think the upgrade could make so much difference. It drives a little wierd in tow haul but that may be due to the reduced torque management. Hope this helps. Plus Lyndon is a very helpful knowledgeable guy.

Yeah, I have emailed him and spoken to him on the phone several times, he really sounds very knowledgeable about what he's doing. Thats why I trust that the product is going to be awesome! Or else, I wouldn't be spending the $400 to do so. Thanks guys!
