my 2001 yukon xl has no interior lights

bought the truck the other day none of the interior lights work. i checked the 15amp fuse under the hood its good even replaced it to be sure. changed the bulbs and they still dont work. none of the lights the map light the dome lights nothing works also the entire left side of the car has no running lights brake lights turn signals or head lights what should i look for?

Check your battery ground to frame and block connection, remove clean, add dielectric grease and secure. Also check block to firewall ground.

check all the fuses in the fuse panel at the driver's end of the dash (the trucks have it there, the Yukon probably does as well).  For my truck, some of the fuses going to the BCM will result in various lights not working.
